Saint Gabriel Feline Foundation has a facility on the outskirts of Las Vegas. They have an enclosed outdoor area so the cats can get fresh air, sun themselves, and watch the birds. They are able to go inside to a sanitary area for food, water, and shelter.
We had a special donor who provided food for the cats in our previous shelter, and for the cats on the streets. He also provided litter, medicine, and paid all spay/neuter bills and all vet bills. He regretfully passed away in 2010. Since his death, it has been a struggle to keep all the cats on the streets fed especially with high gas prices, but thanks to some donations, we are managing to continue feeding the street cats. The cats at our shelter never miss a meal and are fed canned food daily.
Donations are desperately needed!
We go through five 16-pound bags of food a day
We go through five cases of canned food per week
We go through 12 bags of feline pine pellets per week
We go through $20 per day in gas to feed the street cats
Please help us continue to make a difference in the community. Please make a donation today!

Do you live near any of these areas?
We don’t, but without Saint Gabriel Feline Foundation, these cats have no one to take care of them.
We can sure use your help in volunteering to take care of the feral cat colonies in these areas. We serve these areas once a day so we desperately need help if you live in these areas or areas close by. Please watch the YouTube video to get an understanding of what needs to be done and how to do it.
Please call Marie at 373-6071 to discuss exact needs for each colony. It depends on the registered number of cats at that location.
We trap cats in mostly industrial areas where cats have been dropped off or have found their way to the food we leave for the cats that are there.
If they are feral (born on the streets and never touched by humans) they are spayed and neutered, then returned back to their colonies, and we continue to feed them. If they are tame and have found their way to the food, we are sometimes able to scruff them by the neck, drop them into a carrier, and get them spayed and neutered so they can possibly go to adoptions.
They are then assessed for behavior and health issues. If they do not have adoptable behaviors, i.e. spraying, or they do have health issues, i.e., mouth problems, etc, they will live out their lives at the facility, and be treated for their health issues.
We have a few quick questions to see if you and your family are ready to adopt a cat or kitten…
Will your new kitty be an indoor or outdoor cat?
Do you have any other animals in the house?
If yes, how old are they?
How old are you?
Do you have young children in the home? How old are they? Are you able to supervise them at all times with the kitty.
Are you concerned about your furniture getting scratched or torn.
Is the kitty going to be left home alone for a long period of the day or night.
Do you realize that this is a long-term commitment and will you be a forever home for this kitty.
Please give Marie a call to discuss at 702.373.6071.
